James studied Arboriculture at the world renowned land based Merrist Wood College.
On achieving his qualifications he gained valuable experience working for several different major tree surgery companies based in the UK and in Australia. It was this experience that spurred James onto founding Chartfords Trees in 2009. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and is now a well-established local company with a good solid customer base in and around the Oxted area.
James is now seeking to continue his knowledge by returning to Merrist Wood in 2013 to complete the Arboriculture ABC Level 4 Award, Certificate and Diploma alongside continuing to run the company and the team.
Qualifications:
- Edexcel Level 3 BTEC National Diploma held for Forestry & Arboriculture with a Triple Grade Distinction
- NPTC Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Chainsaw & Related Operations
- NPTC Level 2 Certificate of Competence to Climb Trees & Perform Aerial Rescue
- NPTC Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Brushwood Chipper Operations
