Seasoned firewood and logs from Chartfords Trees. We supply good quality, seasoned logs all year round for wood burners and open fires, delivered across Oxted and the surrounding areas of Surrey and Kent.
Good quality dry timber helps prevent the build-up of tar and soot in chimneys and flues. Damp or inferior logs burn away quickly, and more of your heat is lost driving off moisture.
Split to Order
Our logs are split to order and are roughly 8–12 inches long. If you need a specific size, this can also be arranged. Logs are loose tipped from a tipper truck, and delivery is free within 5 miles of Oxted (a small charge applies further out). Please call us for current prices and load sizes.
For best results we recommend storing the timber for around 6–12 months to season further before use.
An Environmentally Friendly Fuel
Logs are an environmentally friendly source of energy. Burning them adds virtually no ‘fossil’ carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, which helps minimise the effects of climate change compared with gas, oil or coal.
Firewood is a renewable resource, so using it today will not stop our children and grandchildren from using it in the future.
